Later, a speedboat will be taken to be transferred in the next three and a half hours through the majestic Napo River, its course will take us to Nuevo Rocafuerte, here an unforgettable experience will begin. The Yasuní National Park has an area of ​​9,820 km2. It was named by UNESCO in 1989 as a biosphere reserve. It conserves one of the longest contiguous territories of the Amazon rainforest, a region certified as one of the 24 priority areas of the global wilderness landscape and one of the most beautiful sites on the planet.

Upon entering the Yasuní National Park and its Jatuncocha lagoon, we first arrive at the control of the Ministry of the Environment where we will receive information from the park rangers regarding the entrance rules, we continue towards the lagoon where we will carry out various activities such as: Sport fishing, observation of a variety of birds, we will have a typical country lunch, listen to the splash of the ARAPIMAS or PAICHE in the water and if we are lucky we will be able to watch them, have a succulent bath in the lagoon, observe a wonderful sunset. Return.

7:00 AM Visit to the interior of the Yasuní National Park

The Jatuncocha and Tambococha Lagoons are especially attractive wetlands for their characteristic flora and fauna. These bodies of water settled in Yasuní are excellent places to observe dolphins and birds of different species, especially in the early hours of the morning. Of all the lagoons present in the Yasuní National Park, Jatuncocha is the one that occupies the largest area.

We will visit the saladero named pichincha, to observe AGAMI herons, different types of birds, inept and animals.

Later we go to the PUMAÑAMBI salting farm. It is a great circuit where we will also observe different mammals, among them the guanganas or mountain pigs, the tapir, deer, different types of monkeys and birds. We will also observe medicinal plants, timber trees such as: the cedars, the ceibos, the mahogany, the ahuano, the guayacán, the chonta, the morete and hundreds of giant plants and trees that are the millennial vigilantes of this deep green jungle, the Pachamama of thousands of living beings. Some of these more than 400 years old, your guides will share their knowledge of the flora and fauna. at the end of the day you will observe diurnal and nocturnal animals that are beginning their daily overnight activities.

In Yasuní we can see high levels of biodiversity among various taxonomic groups. A high number of species have been documented: trees, shrubs, epiphytes, amphibians, freshwater fish, birds, bats, and insects.

7:00 AM Visit to the pink dolphins

After a journey downstream of 1 hour through the majestic river Nato, we arrive at the border with Peru, we take the Aguarico river upstream until we reach the mouth of the COCAYA lagoon where we will proceed to the observation of the pink dolphins, and crafts. According to legend, the pink dolphin was a young indigenous warrior. But one of the gods envied his masculine attributes and decided to transform him into a dolphin and condemn him to live in the rivers and lakes of the Amazon. The attractive dolphin dances perfectly and no woman can flee from his charms. According to local legend, young women on the days of their menstruation and on the nights of a full moon who enter the waters of the Amazon River or walk down the river in a canoe, can count on the visit of the dolphin who will go to get them pregnant. For this reason, pink dolphins are credited with the paternity of all fatherless children in the region.

Yasuní Park protects one of the most diverse tree communities in the world, with at least 1,813 types of trees and species of shrubs classified and 300 species not yet classified. The southern part known as the Intangible Zone, would contain more than 160 of these additional species. In total, 2,274 of this type are registered.

Visit to the Sacudo Cocha lagoon, during the tour we will observe exotic birds, a variety of monkeys, if you are lucky, you can find giant otters.

Hike on the Wasca nail trail, we will walk through an amazing primary forest for approximately 2 to 3 hours.
